Software Architecture

I can offer collaboration on software development projects based on object-oriented technology. My goal is to develop sustainable software architectures based on clean designs and a solid code base. My focus is on Java-based systems in general and specifically on web platforms.

My involvement can cover all stages of the software development process, ranging from requirement analysis and system design to coding and tests.

Consultancy

I'm happy to consult on my focus topics — topics to which I have a strong project background. This project background allows me to pass on practical expertise that is valuable to the customer.

In this sense I can offer consultancy in specific technical areas, but I'm also available for taking a big picture perspective by performing an in-depth analysis of an application landscape with a special focus on software architecture issues. Moreover, I can offer consultancy on software methodology such as agile methods.

Knowledge management

I support projects and organisations with structuring and maintaining their expertise beyond the limits of the actual project. This can take the form of a project retrospective, or can be done through seminars and workshops that I offer on my focus topics.

In this context I'd like to mention the seminars on "Agile Documentation" (in German language) that I run on behalf of Deutsche Informatik-Akademie (DIA). For the current programme I'd like to refer you to the web site of DIA, where you can also register for seminars of your choice.
